Everything But the Kitchen Sink Blessing Kit- Instructions

Step 1: White Candle

This candle has been blessed with special oil designed to assist in blessing your home. Clear your mind and set the intention of peace, love and calm in your home. You’ll want to write your intentions on the outside of the candle. You can write words like prosperity, good health, security, peace, love, etc. in permanent marker. Light the candle to begin the blessing. Allow the candle to burn until it is done. If you don't want to leave the candle unattended then you can relight it when you are ready. DO this step first.

Step 2: Blessing Salt

Sprinkle the salt around your doors and window sills as desired (inside or outside the home) to clear the energy going in and out

Step 3: Sage & Sweetgrass

Sage is an herb that is burned to clear away negative energy. Native American Tribes and many other Shamanic cultures have used it for lifetimes. Light the sage bundle and lightly blow out the flame. Use the smoke to clear unwanted energy from yourself and your home. Make sure to walk with the sage and get the smoke in all of the areas of your house including closets and cabinets. Be thorough. It is also very helpful to have your windows open during this process. Be sure to use an ashtray or something similar to catch the ash as the sage burns. Remember that your sage may burn longer if there is more negative energy to clear. Do not leave unattended. Use sparingly if you cannot handle smoke. Step 4: Outside Stones (not included for apartments): Use the stones in the bag with 4 large, clear stones.

Clear quartz clears away negative and unwanted energy. Place one clear quartz stone outside of your home at the property corners. You do not have to bury it unless you want to or you think it will be taken. If you do bury it there is no depth that is required-just use your judgment.

Step 5: Inside Stones

Your kit contains bags of stones based on the size of your home. You can leave the stones in the bags when you place them or you can take them out. Place each bag in each corner of the inside of your home. (If you have two stories in your home, etc you will need to do each floor.) These do not go in the corner of each room but in the furthest corners of the house. Please include the basement. If you have pets or are worried about children, etc you can place them up high or even in a cabinet. It doesn’t make a difference. The energy of the stones on each level create an energetic grid. This grid continues long after you finish saging and clearing your space.

What the Stones Represent:

Clear quartz (clear): Clears away negative and unwanted energy, allowing focus and stability

Rose Quartz (Pink): Carries the energy of love and helps with grief, heartache, loss

Amethyst (purple): Carries the energy of protection and enhances psychic ability

Tiger’s Eye (Brown or blue/brown striped): Carries the energy of health and wellness

Carnelian(Orange): Carry the energy of inspiration, protection, motivation

Citrine (Yellow or Deep Golden Yellowish Brown): Carry the energy of prosperity, opportunity & wealth

Aventurine (Green): Carry the energy of abundance

Step 6: Wishing Bean and Pink Candle

This candle has been blessed with special oil designed to assist in blessing and bringing love into your home. Use the pink candle first. Light the pink candle, relax and allow yourself to think of all the possibilities of bringing love into your life. Do not limit yourself to romantic love only. Pick up the wishing bean and direct your positive feelings toward the bean. Meditate briefly on how you will feel with a life full of love and then make a wish for love. Bury the bean in your front yard, your favorite house plant, or place it above the doorway at the main entrance of your home.

Step 7: Green Candle

This candle has been blessed with special oil designed to assist in blessing and bringing prosperity into your home. Use the green candle first. Light the candle, relax and allow yourself to think of all the possibilities of abundance in your life. Do not limit yourself to financial abundance only. Meditate briefly on how you will feel with a life abundance and then make a wish for prosperity. Allow the candle to burn until it’s done.

Step 8: Shark Tooth and Black Candle

This candle has been blessed with special oil designed to assist in blessing and bringing security into your home. Use the black candle first. Light the candle, relax and allow yourself to think of a safe and peaceful existence. Pick up the shark tooth and direct your positive feelings toward the tooth. Meditate briefly on how you will feel with a secure and stable life. Plant the shark tooth in your yard, your favorite houseplant or place it above the doorway at the main entrance of your home. Allow the candle to burn as long as you like.

Step 8: Paper Butterfly

Pick up the butterfly and direct your positive feelings of good health in the body, spirit and mind toward the stone. Meditate briefly on how you will feel with a healthy body and spirit. Plant the butterfly in your yard, your favorite houseplant, or place it above the doorway at the main entrance of your home. 

Step 9: Penny

This penny has been blessed with special oil designed to amplify your desire to create or manifest abundance in your life. This can be stored in an item like a wallet or purse that contains your spending money to be with you at all times and amplify the manifestation of abundance.
